About Course Work
All the candidates admitted to the Ph.D. programme shall be required to complete one semester Ph.D. course work conducted by the University. Immediately after joining for Ph.D. programme, candidate can apply for Ph.D. course work on a prescribed form along with fee. Ph.D. course work consists of two papers
Paper-I: ICT & Research Methodologies 100 Hrs (Classes will be held at university Computer Centre. 3hrs/week theory, 4hrs/week practical classes, Classes will be held during 3.00PM- to 5.00PM)
Paper-II: Review of Literature/Research techniques 200 hrs (Ph.D. scholars will be required to report daily to the Head of the Department and put their signature on a register. After this they should carry out review work in the Library/Research Labs or any other location where facilities exists for access of journals/literature. Candidate is required to consult their supervisor regularly. Candidates under supervision of teachers from affiliated colleges shall be required to contact their supervisor at least once in a week. Supervisors will provide necessary direction to the candidate for review of literature. Ph.D. scholars are also expected to make use of this period to prepare their synopsis for registration.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Minimum 75% attendance in Paper-I and Paper-II shall be required for appearing in the examination in the respective papers.
SUMMER CLASSES: Part-Time Research Scholars who are in Job can register for summer courses to complete their course work. Only candidates attended two summer courses with minimum 75% attendance shall be allowed to appear in the course work examinations.
